SACRAMENTO, CA – The Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce an impressive speaker line-up for the 2026-27 Sacramento Speakers Series that brings remarkable speakers and thought leaders to the Capital City. Led by the Sacramento Metro Chamber and presented by Sutter Health – in partnership with KCRA 3, My58 and KFBK News Radio – season tickets are now available to the public for the series that kicks off on September 30, 2026, at the SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center. A celebrated tradition more than two decades strong, the Speakers Series was founded in 2004 and acquired by the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce in 2025. The series has become a cornerstone of civic dialogue, featuring diverse and influential voices that provide invaluable insight to audiences eager to broaden their perspectives and deepen their understanding.

2026-27 Sacramento Speakers Series Line-Up
- September 30, 2026 – Monica Lewinsky, activist, writer, producer, global public speaker, and contributing editor to Vanity Fair
- October 28, 2026 – Former U.S. Representative Liz Cheney, who served for Wyoming's at-large congressional district from 2017 to 2023
- January 27, 2027 – Amy Webb, widely recognized as the global authority who transformed the practice of strategic foresight into a rigorous, data-driven discipline
- February 17, 2027 – Secretary of Defense General James Mattis, USMC (Ret.), dedicated patriot, intellectual, and strategist
- March 24, 2027 – Emmanuel Acho, former FOX sports analyst and modern thought leader
- April 28, 2027 – Father Greg Boyle, ordained a priest in 1984, community activist best known as "Father Greg"
The Series includes an important educational component to help foster the next generation of leaders – the Share the Vision program – that is generously supported by the California State Library Foundation. The program provides local high school students with unique access to speakers through exclusive pre-event receptions and complimentary admission.

Monica Lewinsky
Monica Lewinsky is an activist, writer, producer, public speaker, and contributing editor to Vanity Fair. Through her award-winning podcast, Reclaiming with Monica Lewinsky, she explores themes of identity, resilience, and personal growth. A leading voice on public shaming, cyberbullying, and digital culture, Lewinsky has transformed her personal experiences into influential advocacy and storytelling. Her production credits include The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox, Impeachment: American Crime Story, and 15 Minutes of Shame. Liz Cheney
Liz Cheney served as the U.S. Representative for Wyoming from 2017 to 2023, including as Chair of the House Republican Conference and Vice Chair of the House Select Committee investigating the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol. A national security and foreign policy expert, she previously served in senior roles at the U.S. Department of State and worked internationally with USAID and the International Finance Corporation. Cheney is the bestselling author of Oath and Honor and co-author of Exceptional: Why the World Needs a Powerful America. In 2022, she received the John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in recognition of her defense of democracy.
Amy Webb

James Mattis

Father Greg Boyle
